Just like they did in the Coaches Poll, the Nittany Lions have jumped one spot to No. 5 in the AP Poll.

LSU takes over Alabama for the top spot in the poll after their close win over Auburn. Ohio State stays put at No. 3 but is right on the heels of both LSU and Alabama. Minnesota checks in at No. 13. With both teams on a bye this week, we should have a top-15 matchup in Minneapolis on November 9. Michigan moves up to No. 14 after their dominating win over Notre Dame. Wisconsin falls to No. 18, while Iowa moves up to No. 19. Indiana was the only other Big Ten team to receive votes, while former foe Pitt received one vote.
