Penn State will be left to try and orchestrate a comeback against what may be the best team in the country without its starting quarterback.

After taking a bobbled snap, recovering it off the turf, and then miraculously completing a throw to Nick Bowers for a first down, Clifford took the full weight of Ohio State linebacker Malik Harrison and was forced to leave the game after not being able to get up.

The Nittany Lion offense has woken up since Will Levis came in, with two timely fumble recoveries by this Penn State defense helping to spark those.

Clifford took a hit earlier in the game as well, after which he landed hard on his right shoulder. Clifford's status for the rest of the game is unknown.

Roar Lions Roar will keep you updated on his status.
