After an injury forced quarterback Sean Clifford to leave the game following a hard hit, the Lions offense decided to lean on the run game. And what a decision it was. After a huge third-down run by Will Levis, Journey Brown ripped off two huge runs, the latter getting him into the end zone to cut the Buckeye lead to 14.
Brown powered his way through several Ohio State defenders on his way to the end zone and reached the ball across the goal line as his knee went down to seal the score. The play was reviewed and upheld by the officials.
No. 8 Penn State trails No. 2 Ohio State 21-14 in the third quarter following a Will Levis touchdown a few plays later.
