When the Penn State offense takes the field for the regular-season finale against Rutgers, it will do so with backup quarterback Will Levis instead of Sean Clifford. Levis replaced Clifford during the Ohio State game a week ago after Clifford was forced out of the game due to injury.

Levis played well in relief of Clifford a week ago, going 6-for-11 passing against the vaunted Buckeye defense, and added 34 yards and a touchdown on the ground. This will be the first career start for the redshirt freshman.

On the season, Levis has thrown for 142 yards on 20-for-33 passing. He has also run for 105 total yards, as is responsible for four total touchdowns (three running, one passing).

Levis is a former three-star recruit from Xavier High School in Middletown, CT. He was the 28th-ranked pro-style quarterback in his class, according to the 247Sports Composite.
