Penn State senior wide receiver Dan Chisena might be doing something nobody expected him to do, get noticed by the NFL.
A former walk-on on the football team, and member of the Penn State track team, Chisena was named MVP of the SPIRAL Tropical Bowl over the weekend. He hauled in five catches for 155 yards and one touchdown. Tom Flacco, younger brother of Broncos quarterback Joe Flacco, hit Chisena in stride and there was no chance anybody would catch him.
Chisena hauled in just three catches for 66 yards this season and was a key member of Penn State's special team's units. He registered four tackles and recovered a fumble, but his blazing speed on the outside as a gunner helped make many returners opt for a fair catch.
