After a season that saw James Franklin's Penn State team reach 11 wins for the third time in the last four seasons, including another New Years Six win, the Lions find themselves inside the final AP top-10, coming in at No. 9. It's the third time the Lions have finished in the top-10 under Franklin, coming in at No. 7 in 2016 and No. 8 in 2017.

Though the Lions left games on the table in Minneapolis and Columbus, achieving double-digit wins and a top-10 ranking in a season that was always seen as more of a reloading year is quite impressive. It also will give the Lions plenty of hype heading into the 2020 season, as much of the offense returns, as well as some key pieces on defense.

The only Big Ten team to finish ahead of Penn State was Ohio State at No. 3. Minnesota came in at No. 10 (I'm sure Gopher fans will be totally fine with that!), Wisconsin at No. 12, Iowa at No. 15, and Michigan at No. 18.
