Micah Parsons just capped off what was an incredible sophomore campaign. He led the team in tackles (109), racked up 14 tackles for loss, had 5 sacks, forced 4 fumbles, and broke up 5 passes. But perhaps the most impressive thing about his 2019 season was the way he completely eliminated opposing run games whenever they came near him. For his efforts, he was named as the very best run defender in college football for the 2019 season, per Pro Football Focus.

Again, hardly surprising news given how dominant he was this past season, but it's a nice recognition for the 2019 All-American and Cotton Bowl Defensive MVP as he gears up for what could be a monster 2020 season.
For the record, those who know him best were hardly surprised by this announcement, as Lamont Wade quickly chimed in on Twitter.
Parsons already topped our list of the top linebackers of the decade, despite only have two years of playing time at the position. With another year of experience under his belt, and another year to continue to show that he is a menace against both the pass and run, Parsons could very well play his way into a top-10 NFL Draft selection.
