James Franklin will look to extend his perfect record against Iowa in the 2020 Homecoming game. On Monday, Penn State announced that the Homecoming game will be against the Hawkeyes on October 17. The annual Homecoming parade will take place at 6 PM on October 16.

The Nittany Lions have won the last six contests with the Hawkeyes. This past season, Penn State held on for a 17-12 victory under the lights at Kinnick Stadium. Last time Iowa traveled to Beaver Stadium, the Lions took home a 30-24 victory after an ill-timed Nate Stanley interception on the goal line by Nick Scott.

No kickoff time is set, but it is safe to assume that this will not be a night game. Penn State holds an edge in the all-time series with a 17-12 record. The week of Homecoming activities is set to begin on October 11 with the Homecoming Concert. The Penn State Homecoming site has a full listing of the week's events.
