Marc Cohn's "Walking in Memphis" is a perfect sappy bar song. In the bowl game, Cohn had to consider changing the lyrics to "Running Though Memphis" as Journey Brown torched the Tigers for 202 yards.

On Thursday, running back Journey Brown was named to the Paul Hornung Award Watch List. The award is presented annually to reward versatile, high-level performers in college football.

The Meadville, PA native came to the Nittany Lions as an under the radar recruit but emerged as a reliable runner last season. He ran for 890 yards on the season with an impressive 6.9 yards per carry. Let's get back to that run against Memphis for a moment.

Penn State superstar Saquon Barkley won the award in 2017 and is the only Nittany Lion to win the award since it's inception in 2010. Last season, Kentucky's Lynn Bowden won the award. Check out the full list of Journey's competition here.
