The Nittany Lions remain at No. 9 in the AP Poll, after staying put at No. 8 in the Coaches Poll earlier today.

Penn State nearly moved up a spot to No. 8 but came up just one point shy of Cincinnati. Some voters aren't picking teams who have not played, which is a big reason why the Nittany Lions didn't take that jump.

Overall, five Big Ten teams appear in this week's poll with the Nittany Lions joining No. 6 Ohio State, No. 16 Wisconsin, No. 19 Michigan, and No. 24 Minnesota. Iowa and Indiana were among the Others Receiving Votes.
