The Nittany Lions will avoid the noon timeslot for at least two more weeks, as their Week Three bout with Maryland has officially been set for a 3:30 pm ET kickoff.

The Lions will take on the Terps in week three following their week two showdown with Big Ten-favorite Ohio State in primetime in Happy Valley.

Penn State is currently on a five-game winning streak over Maryland in which they have outscored the Terps by a total of 232-50. To make matters worse for Mike Locksley's squad, the Terps have scored just 6 total points against the Lions in the last three years.

This could be a pivotal game on Penn State's schedule if they are unable to vanquish the Buckeyes in Week Two, as they could be sitting at 0-2.

Aside from Penn State, Week Three should be an interesting one in the Big Ten. At noon, we'll see if the Hoosiers can keep the magic alive against another conference power in Michigan Wolverines, as well as see if Nebraska can back up their talk against a not-lifeless Northwestern team. Purdue at Wisconsin should also prove interesting (assuming Rondale Moore is back in the lineup). Purdue took down Iowa in Week One while Wisconsin dismantled Illinois. However, quarterback Graham Mertz testing positive for COVID-19 could have him on the shelf for three weeks if the test is confirmed.

Roar Lions Roar will be here to break down everything Terrapin related next week ahead of the matchup.
