Sean Clifford's time in the lineup for Penn State is done, at least in the short term. After an interception and a fumble in the first half against Nebraska, Clifford has been replaced at quarterback by backup Will Levis.

Through a quarter and a half, Clifford was 5-of-9 passing for 37 yards to go along with the interception and the fumble (which was returned for a touchdown).

Levis last got extensive playing time against Rutgers in the regular-season finale of 2019. He also helped lead the Penn State comeback against Ohio State a year ago in Columbus thanks to his powerful running.
