Penn State is making a change at the most important position on the field. Will Levis will be starting at quarterback in today's game vs. Iowa. He replaces Sean Clifford, who has struggled mightily through the season's first four games.

This will be Levis' second career start, after he got the call vs. Rutgers in 2019 with Clifford sidelined due to injury. He also came on in relief late in the second quarter in last week's 30-23 loss to Nebraska. While his entrance in the game provided a spark, he was unable to bring the Lions all the way back.

Levis was 14/31 for 210 yards in last week's loss, and 42/78 for 442 yards and two touchdowns in his career. Penn State will be looking for him to take care of the ball, something that has plagued Clifford through four games.

Clifford will service as the primary backup, but true freshman Micah Bowens is the apparent third-string option. Redshirt freshman Ta'Quan Roberson is not in uniform according to multiple reports.
