Penn State's offense had little trouble getting down the field on its opening drive, before failing to convert on a fourth down. The Nittany Lions had no such problems on their second possession. After the defense forced a Rutgers turnover on downs, Sean Clifford capped a 45-yard drive with a perfectly thrown 29-yard strike to freshman Parker Washington, putting the Lions up 7-0.
Parker Washington is really, really good.
