An improved defensive effort has put the Penn State offense in a position to take this Land Grant showdown in Happy Valley, and Parker Washington doesn't look to be interested in letting that opportunity pass them by. On one of the best-designed offensive plays of the seasons, Parker Washington found himself wide-open on the pump-and-go route and did the rest himself, shaking two defenders on his way to the end zone.
The Lions appeared to set up the wide receiver bubble screen that they've used so often in 2020, only to have Washington simply keep running and get behind the cornerbacks. A juke got him past the first man before he simply outran the safety to the end zone.
With the score, the Lions extended the lead to 32-24 with about 12 minutes remaining in the game.
