A three-star New Jersey prospect in the 2017 class, Lovett ran for 1,803 yards and 17 touchdowns in four seasons in Waco. He led the Bears in rushing in each of his first three years, before appearing in just five games this season.
Lovett joins a loaded running back room, but if this season taught it's anything, it's that you can never have enough depth at running back. He'll battle for playing with Devyn Ford, Keyvone Lee, Caziah Holmes, and Noah Cain when he returns from his injury.
Lovett is eligible immediately as a graduate transfer.
