Five Nittany Lions Named to the AP All-Big Ten Team

Though the Penn State season is over, some players received some accolades on Tuesday. The Associated Press named their All-Big Ten team, with five Nittany Lions recognized for their play. 

Defensive end Shaka Toney was the lone Penn State player named to the first team. The senior from Philadelphia was named All-Big-Teby both the coaches and media last week. Toney finished the season with 21 tackles, and five sacks. He ends his Penn State career with 20.5 sacks. 

Tight end Pat Freiermuth, guard Mike Miranda, defensive end Jayson Oweh, and safety Lamont Wade were named to the second team.
