Penn State defensive tackle Judge Culpepper has entered the NCAA transfer portal.

Originally a 2018 three-star recruit out of Tampa, Culpepper played a reserve role at defensive tackle during each of the last two seasons after redshirting his first season on campus. He recorded five total tackles in 2020, including a half sack.

While a space had opened ahead of him with the graduation of Antonio Shelton, and Culpepper had played himself into a role in the rotation, he faces competition for playing time from some young players like Hakeem Beamon, D'von Ellies, and Coziah Izzard, among others on a crowded defensive tackle depth chart.

Culpepper will be a redshirt junior in 2021.
