Former Penn State tight end Zack Kuntz will transfer to Old Dominion, reuniting with his former offensive coordinator Ricky Rahne and a slew of other former Penn State coaches.

Kuntz appeared in 21 games in three seasons in Happy Valley, reeling in three balls for 26 yards. He redshirted his first season on campus to fill out his 6'7 frame but was surpassed on the depth chart by fellow 2018 signee Pat Freiermuth. He was never fully able to put it together in State College and was passed by Brenton Strange and Theo Johnson on the depth chart this past season.

Old Dominion did not play this fall, cancelling their season due to COVID-19 concerns. The Monarchs are scheduled to kick off their 2021 campaign against the Wake Forest Deamon Deacons on Friday, September 3.
