Redshirt junior offensive lineman Rasheed Walker and senior safety Jaquan Brisker earned first-team selections, while senior wide receiver Jahan Dotson and redshirt senior offensive lineman Mike Miranda were named to the second team.
Walker and Brisker have hopes of being early selections in the 2022 NFL Draft and big seasons could catapult them up draft boards. Jahan Dotson and Mike Miranda are two of the program's most experienced players and are expected to be the leaders of their respective position rooms.
Offensive lineman Juice Scruggs, transfer defensive end Arnold Ebiketie and linebacker Ellis Brooks represented Penn State on the third team. The Nittany Lions' presence on the fourth team was comprised of tight end Brenton Strange, linebacker Brandon Smith, and long snapper Chris Stoll.
Scruggs has played sparingly in his Penn State career but his talent has never been in question. Arnold Ebiketie dominated for the Temple Owls last season, but it's yet to be seen if he can make the same impact at the Power Five level. Brooks led Penn State in tackles a year ago and should hold down the middle for another season. Strange, Smith and Stoll could easily end the season earning third-team honors or higher if they are able to play at the level they are capable of.
