Pro Football Focus released its Preseason College Football All-America Team on Monday and Penn State safety Jaquan Brisker was among the players who earned recognition.

Brisker earned second-team honors from PFF ahead of a season in which much is expected of the Pittsburgh native. Notre Dame's Kyle Hamilton took first-place honors.

Brisker figures to be one of the leaders of a talented Penn State secondary group, and another good season for the Nittany Lions could move him further up draft boards.

He was also recently named a First-Team All-Big Ten pick by Phil Steele, and a First-Team All-Big Ten pick by Athlon Sports.

The former Lackawanna Community College star started all nine games in 2020 and finished third on the team and 12th in the Big Ten in tackles. His six pass breakups placed him in a tie for seventh in the conference.
