Penn State offensive tackle Rasheed Walker and center Mike Miranda have been named to the Outland Trophy watch list. The award is given to the best interior lineman in college football.

Walker is one of the most experienced offensive linemen in the Big Ten, with 22 starts under his belt. He earned All-Big Ten honors for his play in 2020 and is viewed by some as a potential first-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Mike Miranda has started 18 games at guard over his Penn State career but is expected to slide into center this season. He was a second-team All-Big Ten selection by both the coaches and media last season.

The Nittany Lions have had just one player win the award, with defensive tackle Mike Reid bringing home the hardware in 1969.
