The Nittany Lions are staying put in the Coaches Poll after the bye week, sticking at No. 8.

Penn State is now the fourth-highest-rated team in the Big Ten, with Ohio State, Michigan, and Michigan State all getting a bump this week. The Buckeyes move up to No. 5, the Wolverines to No. 6, and the Spartans to No. 7. Iowa swiftly dropped from No. 2 to No. 11 after getting blown out by Purdue on their home field.

The Boilermakers did earn 16 votes themselves, but that wasn't enough to enter the top-25.
