Christian Veilleux has taken over at quarterback for Penn State in the Nittany Lions' contest against Rutgers. The freshman took over the backup job from Ta'Quan Roberson earlier this month, but this marks his first career apperance.

Several Nittany Lion regulars are out due to a flu bug, but it appeared as if Clifford was banged on on his last offensive snap. The senior attempted to scramble for a first down, but was tripped up, and immediately went to the injury tent.

Penn State is locked in a scoreless tie with the Scarlet Knights in the second quarter.
