Penn State battled the flu bug as a team this past week, and started off the game against Rutgers very slow. After taking a 7-0 lead into the break, freshman quarterback Christian Veilleux settled in nicely and the Nittany Lions prevailed 28-0. The defense got their second shutout of the year, and the team got a win on Senior Day. As for James Franklin's Twitter mentions, they weren't as forgiving, but I will let you share in my joy of looking through them as well.

Expectations low heading into the game.

Sean Clifford tried to battle through, but the offense struggled for the majority of the first half.

Frustration continues to mount.

The second half was a different story and it seems like it has been a while since fans have seen the team having this much fun.

Land Grant Week is upon us.

Also nice to see the seniors go out on a high note.

This tweet stood out and is from Jordan Miner's dad. As you may recall, Miner had to retire in 2018 due to a heart condition, but was announced on Senior Day. It's nice to end one of these articles on a non-scathing insulting tweet.

Michigan State this Saturday and Happy Thanksgiving to all.
