According to reports, Penn State reserve offensive lineman Des Holmes is the latest Nittany Lion to enter the NCAA transfer portal. Holmes has one season of eligibility remaining.

Holmes came to Penn State out of Cardinal O'Hara in Springfield, PA, as a three-star recruit in the class of 2017. Following a redshirt year, he played in 34 games throughout his career. It seemed as though he'd be in the mix to challenge for a starting or primary backup role in 2021, but that never materialized.
