Black, a Germantown, Maryland native, became part of the Lackawanna-College-to-Penn-State-pipeline with Ji'Ayir Brown in the 2020 class. While James Franklin has found stellar success with former Falcons such as Brown and Jaquan Brisker, Black was never able to garner playing time in his two years in State College.
Black was rated as the 38th best JuCo player and No. 5 JuCo receiver in the 2020 class. Should he choose to enter the transfer portal, he would still have two years of eligibility.
