Former Maryland Terrapin edge rusher Demeioun Robinson will transfer to Penn State.

A former four-star prospect and the No. 68 overall player in the 2021 recruiting class according to the 247Sports Composite, Robinson played in all 13 games for Maryland last season - totaling 19 tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss as a true freshman.

The Nittany Lions recruited Robinson hard out of high school, but the Gaithersburg native ultimately decided to stay home to start his collegiate career. On top of Penn State and Maryland, Robinson also held offers from Alabama, Michigan, Texas A&M, LSU, and some of the other biggest names in the sport.

James Franklin has been open about the need to add a game-ready edge rusher to the current roster as the program looks to replace Arnold Ebiketie.

Robinson will compete for a starting job along with Adisa Isaac, Nick Tarburton, Smith Vilbert, and a slew of underclassmen.
