15-year-old center Josh Barnes committed to Penn State hockey on Tuesday, making him the program's sixth commitment of the 2020 class. The Cornwall, Ontario native has spent the last few seasons in East Ontario and Cornwall youth programs before making his debut in the CCHL this season. He had 52 points in 39 HEOMAAA games and 5 points in 7 CCHL games.

The CCHL has produced two Nittany Lions: Andrew Sturtz and Liam Folkes, so Barnes is on the right track to making his mark in Hockey Valley. You can watch him next season on demand:

According to eliteprospects, Penn State has six commitments in Barnes' class. He joins Jeffrey Bertrand, Ryan Kirwan, and Tyler Paquette at forward, while Jared Crespo and Simon Mack will join the blue-line, and Christian Sbaraglia will be in net.
