Evan Barratt, Alex Limoges, Cole Hults Named to Preseason All-Big Ten Teams

With Penn State hockey just days away, the preseason All-Big Ten teams were released ahead of the regular season. Penn State, who was voted by the conference's coaches as the top team in the Big Ten, was well-represented.

Forwards Evan Barratt and Alex Limoges were both named to the First Team and defenseman Cole Hults to the Second Team. Defenseman Kris Myllari was also named an honorable mention.

Penn State and Wisconsin led the conference in First-Team nominees with two apiece. Penn State was the only team to have three players named to the First and Second Teams, total.

Barratt finished the 2018-19 season with 16 goals and 27 assists (43 points), including four power-play goals. Limoges racked up 23 goals and 27 assists (50 points) with five power-play goals.

Hults took a step forward as a defenseman while also increasing his offensive output to the tune of six goals and 22 assists (28 points) and a strong +19 rating.

Barratt and Limoges were joined on the First Team by fellow standouts Tanner Laczynski (F, Ohio State), Wyatt Kalynuk (D, Wisconsin), K'Andre Miller (D, Wisconsin), and Cale Morris (G, Notre Dame).
