After leading Penn State in scoring each of the last three seasons, Connor Maloney will get his shot to play at the next level this season. Columbus Crew SC made the Harrisburg, Pa. native their third round selection in the Major League Soccer Super Draft.

Over 73 career appearances, all starts, for the Nittany Lions, Maloney scored 26 goals and added 17 assists. He was named first team All-Big Ten each of the last three years, an unanimous selection in 2014 and 2016, and the league's Offensive Player of the Year recipient in 2014 as well.

Maloney will join Niko Hansen, Columbus' selection at ninth overall, as well as veterans Adam Jahn and Ola Kamara as attacking options heading into the preseason.

Congratulations, Connor!
