If not for Alyssa Naeher, the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team might very well have seen its Olympic run end.
The former Penn State goalkeeper was monumental in goal for the USWNT, saving three penalty kicks, including two in the game-deciding shootout. Thanks to her efforts, the Red, White, and Blue got past the Netherlands and into the Olympic semifinals.
Penn State (and USA Twitter) was ecstatic to say the least.
If the United States gave out knighthoods, Naeher would certainly deserve one after that performance.
If this isn't her middle name, it probably should be at this point right?

Not one...not two....but three.
Hang it in the louvre, please!
A legend approves.
If she can't get a knighthood, this title also works.
I'll never be one to judge tattoo decisions.
