Zain Retherford ended his Penn State career on a high note in the 2018 NCAA Wrestling Championship, winning the title at 149 pounds.
The Zain Train, who took home B1G Wrestler of the Year, defeated Lock Haven's Ronnie Perry, an underdog story who fought his way into the final in Cleveland. No. 1 seed Retherford, who will go down in Penn State wrestling lore, extended his match winning streak to 94.
Retherford finishes his Nittany Lions career with 53 falls, tied for a school record. He also won three national titles during his Penn State career.
