On Sunday afternoon, three seniors wrestled for Penn State on Senior Day in Vincenzo Joseph, Mark Hall, and Shakur Rasheed. In their final matches at Rec Hall, they all managed to get pins. Pin State is alive and well, as the Nittany Lions are gearing up for the postseason.
Vincenzo Joseph got the first fall for Penn State against Tim Fitzpatrick.
Then, Mark Hall got a first-period fall against Anthony Wokasch.
Finally, Shakur Rasheed finished off his Rec Hall career with the fastest fall of the day for Penn State against William Jarrell.
Three seniors, three falls for Penn State on Senior Day. These three got to get the send-off at Rec Hall they deserve for their contributions to the program.
The Nittany Lions finished off their regular season with a 40-3 dual meet win over American. Next up for these three and the rest of the Nittany Lions will be the Big Ten Tournament which is set to begin on Saturday, March 7 in Piscataway, New Jersey.
