It's been a tough Big Ten season for Brandon Meredith, as he ended up the last seed at the Big Ten Tournament. When he took the mat against No. 3 Pat McKee (Minnesota), who is ranked No. 11 nationally, he was expected to get beaten comfortably. It's a good thing Brandon Meredith didn't listen to the critics.

Brandon Meredith is now one win from being an NCAA qualifier.

Let's get as weird as we can.

 That is his name.

Some people were celebrating.

Some people don't know how brackets work.

Brandon Meredith will take on No. 6 seed Michael DeAugustino in the quarterfinals.
