Mike Yurcich explaining some play design.

Penn State unexpectedly made a huge move when it dismissed offensive coordinator Kirk Ciarrocca and replaced him immediately with former Ohio State passing game coordinator and Oklahoma State and Texas offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich.

The move came as a surprise to everyone in the college football world, as there were no indications that head coach James Franklin was preparing to make a move. However, Yurcich is now the man running the offense in Happy Valley. Fans will know him for his high-flying offenses in Stillwater, Columbus, and Austin, but what else do we need to know about the newest Nittany Lion coach?

Bill caught up with Kyle Boone of Pistols Firing to talk about Yurcich's time with the Cowboys and what fans should expect to see from his offense in State College, what the system will look like, what types of quarterbacks he will recruit, and more. It's a must-listen for anyone who wants to learn more about the newest member of the coaching staff.
