Tough news for Michigan fans was uncovered as it has been reported that starting Wolverine quarterback Wilton Speight has three broken vertebrae and is likely to miss the remainder of the season.

That means that Jim Harbaugh's squad will either have to roll with John O'Korn for the rest of the year, plug in a junior who has never played a snap (Alex Malzone), or look to one of the highly-touted by still very young and inexperienced options (Brandon Peters or Dylan McCaffrey).

No matter what they decide, this does confirm that Speight will be out for Michigan's game at Penn State.
