I'd have to say Ohio State in 2016 takes the cake, but man was the Iowa game that year fun too. Northwestern back in 2012 stands out too.

You'd think he would've transferred in 2016 after he lost the battle and only gave up one year of eligibility instead of sitting behind Trace for three, especially if he was never given a fair chance.
Why would Tommy stay for three whole years if it wasn’t a fair competition? Wouldn’t that make a player want to leave knowing he never got a fair shot?
Franklin’s consistently shown he’s willing to have open competitions and let backups win. He did it with Barkley over Akeel Lynch in 2015, Jahan Dotson over Brandon Polk, and Freiermuth over Holland and Dalton last year. If Stevens was better, he would have played more
