you’re right to a point, there aren’t many Justin Fields of the world transferring, but at this point Penn state should just be in the market for some proven depth. we saw what the drop off was like when the second and third string DT’s get into the game. they’d be smart to add some guys along the lines.
but also, just because someone couldn’t start at their previous school doesn’t mean they aren’t talented. imagine getting stuck behind someone like Nick bosa. you could have 1st round talent, but you’re behind someone with #1 overall talent. don’t discount someone just because they’re a transfer
